Q: How long have you been a presenter?

A: I started presenting around 8 years ago when another presenter friend of mine (Pierre) suggested that I give it a try. I thought about it for a bit then thought what the hell. I put together a demo tape in my frontroom using my stereo.

Q: Where was your first radio job?

A: Not even going to lie to you here, I started on LWR which was a pirate radio station run by a fantastic character called 'Zak'. It was the not a legal way to start but the way things were run on that station I learnt a lot of things that have kept me in good stead even today (Thanks guys)

Q: Would you suggest to someone nowadays to go on a pirate station?

A: To tell the truth, not saying that I am ashamed of my pirate days: far from it, in saying that I would not suggest to anyone to do anything that is not legal. It would have to be a decision made by yourself. I would say that it might be a good idea to check out one of the many radio courses that are about. You could also apply to the as many stations as you can to see if they have any placement spots available, that's a good start.

Q: What should I include when I contact these stations?

A: You would need to have an up to date CV with a cover letter and you must also have an audio demo tape of roughly 3 minutes long. You do not want to have it too long and try to capture your listener from the beginning.

Q: Are you available for hire to host events?

A: YES I AM lol, my diary is filling up nicely at the moment. If you want to hire me for an event please check out the 'Contact Us' page. I also DJ at some functions.

Q: How expensive are you?

A: Me personally, I'm expensive and dear lol but to hire me it does depend on the event: but my fees are quite reasonable.
